Privacy notice

Information we use

Sign-in provides your account identifier and, when authorised, your name and email. We use account information to authenticate you and connect purchased access to your account. We store payment references, plan and expiry records; Your selected payment provider, Paystack or Flutterwave when available, processes card and payment details. We send the provider your account email, name when available, purchase reference and selected plan to create and verify checkout; the application does not receive your full card details. Our private owner dashboard records account first use, latest recorded activity and verified payments for service administration. Optional session statistics can be disabled using the site footer; account and transaction records needed to provide membership remain.

Employer submissions include the contact email and listing details entered in the form. Saved source links, application tracking and toolkit drafts are kept in your browser. Clear them on a shared device. The full CV builder can read PDF, Word .docx and text files on your device. Selecting a file extracts text locally; it does not publish the original file. The full CV builder automatically saves your draft and current step in this browser under your signed-in account so you can resume on the same device. This includes extracted text and unaccepted review suggestions, but not the original file or AI consent. Clear the device draft when using a shared device. Choosing Save to my account additionally stores a private account copy for use on another device. Account copies are restricted to the signed-in member and retained until replaced or deleted in the builder, or through a deletion request. Deleting the account copy does not clear copies on your devices or downloaded files. Save-confirmation records retain a request identifier, content fingerprint and timestamps, without CV text. We do not publish CV drafts or add them to marketing contacts. Downloads are stored wherever your browser saves files.

CV readiness checks

When you choose Check my CV readiness, we process your current CV draft and target settings on our protected server to return rule-based feedback. The application does not save the submitted CV or readiness report, add it to communication contacts or send it to an AI provider for this check. Findings are guidance, not verification of facts, an employer ATS test or a guarantee of recruitment outcomes.

Optional AI-assisted CV review

Only when you agree and request import or corrections do we send your extracted CV text or current CV, selected country and industry, and optional job description to our protected review endpoint and AI service provider. This content may include contact details, work history and education. Remove anything you do not want reviewed. Requesting AI review does not automatically save a CV to your account. Extracted text and suggestions are included in automatic device recovery; they are saved to your private account only when you choose Save to my account. We do not add CV content to communication contacts or publish it. The AI provider processes requests under its own service and retention arrangements; processing is not guaranteed to be temporary or within Nigeria. Suggested changes can be wrong: check all facts before accepting. You may build, edit and download manually without AI review. Withdrawing the checkbox prevents new review requests but cannot undo a completed request.

Scholarship preparation

Scholarship Premium is included in International Premium. Preparation text, document status, self-assessed eligibility, saved deadlines and interview notes are recovered automatically in this browser under your account. Choosing Save to my account also stores a private account copy. You can delete the account copy or clear the device copy separately. Copies remain until replaced or deleted; save-confirmation records retain request identifiers, fingerprints and timestamps without your preparation text. No passport scans, certificates, financial documents or original application files are uploaded by this planner. Avoid entering identity numbers, bank details, sensitive medical information or referee contact details. Writing guidance uses the words you enter and does not send them to AI or marketing contacts. Calendar files and request drafts are downloaded for you to use; the tool does not send messages or submit scholarship applications automatically.

Optional updates

Only after you select and save the optional updates preference do we share your name, email and verified subscription status with trusted account and communication providers. You can withdraw in the Premium preference panel. This stops future syncing. Records already shared may remain where needed for account administration.

Usage statistics

Our session statistics record usage actions and coarse traffic information, including toolkit visits, CV starts, checkout interest and prepared CV exports. Export counts do not include document content and do not confirm that a file was opened. Private sales reporting uses server-verified transaction amounts and plans; browser checkout clicks are not recorded as verified sales. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes device, browser and network information. Custom events exclude your name, email, CV content, payment references and search text. You can disable usage statistics for your browser session in the site footer.

Advertising and Google AdSense

NextStride Africa includes Google's AdSense script on the main app page, together with publisher-verification metadata and an authorised-seller record. Loading this script connects your browser to Google and may send browser, network and page information. Ad display depends on Google's approval, account settings and applicable consent requirements. The TikTok Ad privacy control and usage-statistics switch do not control Google advertising. Google's advertising and regional consent settings are managed separately.

Where Google advertising is enabled, Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies or similar identifiers to deliver and measure ads, including ads based on previous visits to this or other websites, subject to applicable consent choices and settings. Google's advertising cookies can enable Google and its partners to personalise ads. You can manage personalised Google advertising at My Ad Center, read how Google uses information on partner sites, or visit AboutAds choices for participating third-party vendors. The usage-statistics switch described above controls our analytics collection; it is not an advertising-consent control.

Optional TikTok ad measurement

We load the TikTok Pixel only after you choose Allow measurement in Ad privacy. It measures visits, live checkout starts and newly verified live purchases. TikTok receives browser, device, network and page/referrer information. Our custom events do not contain names, emails, phone numbers, CVs, search text or payment references. Automatic Advanced Matching, first-party cookies and enhanced page-content collection are disabled for this pixel. Your choice is stored on this device; use Ad privacy to change or withdraw it. Declining does not limit jobs, purchases or Premium access. Global Privacy Control is respected where available. Browser-based measurement may miss declined, blocked or interrupted events and is not an accounting record.

Security, providers and retention

We use HTTPS, protected account routes and restricted administrative access. No online system is risk-free. Hosting, sign-in, analytics, payment and opted-in communication providers process information needed to supply their services and may operate outside Nigeria. We retain account and transaction records as needed to provide access, handle disputes and meet applicable obligations; browser drafts remain until you clear them.

Your choices and requests

You can request access, correction or deletion of personal data, object to processing and withdraw optional consent. Some transaction records may need to be retained for applicable obligations.
